Pair of régule statues mounted on wood signed by the artist LaVergne. Young woman is holdinga basket of oysters and an oyster shucking tool. Young man is wearing a fishing cap and is holding a basket. Brass plate on the male statue reads “Offert par M. Caillaux, député” indicating that this pair of statues was a gift from a government official named Monsieur Caillaux.
