Hand carved oak marriage armoire from Normandy, c. 1880. In pristine condition with three original shelves and drawers inside. This piece was commissioned for a young bride by her father as a wedding gift. Carvings include flowers, leaves and vines, and Normandy baskets. The basket of flowers at the top is a symbol of wishes of prosperity for the young married couple.
